I came out of college right into an internal government auditing job but it wasn’t long that I discovered it was my entrepreneurial talent I wanted to nourish. Since I was young I had little carnivals or door-to-door sales of greeting cards. I dream about starting businesses all the time.

So it wasn’t surprising that I started to gravitate to other small business owners. Serving their basic accounting needs often led to strategic planning whether it was cash flow management, exit strategies, and most often greater profitability. 

Fast forward 25 years… I have had over 200 accounting clients, served on boards of non-profits, been a foster mom to 50 kids, owned 4 non-accounting businesses including 2 cemeteries, ran sales teams, business brokering, and even did nothing for a spell.
